This beautiful clam shell pendant is a unique piece, hallmarked at the London Assay Office.
It has been made by hand using a real “imperfect clam shell”. The shell was used with the sand casting technique to produce a solid sterling silver version of the original shell.
I deliberately used a shell that was not absolutely perfect as I can see the beauty in that!
The pendant is 33mm long from the top of the bail to the bottom of the shell, 30mm at the widest point and 16g in weight.
It includes a 20 inch sterling silver snake chain.
